Late Snow in Bosnia and Herzegovina

On the 18th of April 2017, Sarajevo experienced a rather unusual phenomenon. What started as a few falling snowflakes, ended in constant heavy snowfall throughout the night. Most of the trees accumulated too much snow on their branches, and snapped falling on cars, buildings, and the pavements. Several areas of Sarajevo were also affected by electricity cuts and lack of running water.
